I’m A Mac guy, but I haven’t been too happy with their build quality lately so last October I bought a Surface Pro 3 It hasn’t been able to detect the battery since august, Any windows guys know how to fix it? I’m starting to get relly pissed off at this thing

Poke a hole in it and see if it notices a lithium leak.

Yup. I did have the screen replaced by a local screen fixit company.... right after I got it back it did this, but right after I got it back it was dead and when I turned it on it immediately went into firmware updates, and I unplugged it during. So I’m wondering if its failed firmware or hardware fuckup by the screen replacement guy

i’m willing to be hardware fuck up by the screen guy. wouldnt surprise me if the battery connection got pinched or he just flatout forgot to reconnect it.

He said the repair had a lifetime warranty, so anything he fucked up should be fixed free. I just called him for the second time in a month about it, said hed call me back “in a bit” if he doesn’t call in an hour I’m calling again.
